ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER PLUMBING MASTERPIECE! 😂🔧

We went out to replace a pump and discharge line that another plumber had installed. Apparently, someone decided that properly sizing a pump and discharge line was more of a suggestion than an actual requirement!

The pump was undersized, the discharge line was too small, and I’m guessing the original plumber thought water would just squeeze through if you asked it nicely! 😂

Here’s a little Plumbing 101: You can’t expect a pump to move water efficiently when the equipment and piping aren’t properly sized for the job.

Now we’re tearing up concrete, replacing the pump, and installing a properly sized discharge line.

And guess who gets to pay for the same job twice? That’s right, the homeowner!

I swear, some of these plumbing jobs make me wonder whether the original installer had a plumbing license or just stayed at a Holiday Inn Express!
